Experience these fascinating coastal creatures in their natural habitat! The trip will take you from the coast of Hout Bay to Duiker Island by way of a laid-back 3-hour boat cruise. The island is home to a colony of some 15 000 Cape Fur Seals who frolic and cavort in the surrounding oceans – between their activities on land, which include sleeping, mating and occasionally fighting (usually in the quest for a mate). Roughly an hour to 2 hours will be spent at the snorkeling site, which will give you ample time to observe and mingle with these interesting and endearing mammals.
